I went “All In” with Booker! I bought his mother Bridgette in her older years, in hopes of getting a puppy with an amazing pedigree from her. Booker’s mom is a fast and snappy bird finding machine. Her offspring have the same style, nose, and intensity as their mother. I bred her once before via frozen semen and it didn’t take, so I went for live cover, from a well-known, well-bred dog, thinking it would be the only litter I would get out of her! So, I went all in on picking Mr Booker! He was everything I wanted as a puppy – sweet, intelligent, and fast. He started his career in field trials with Ed Tillson of Tequila Kennels in the Spring of 2014 and placed in almost every trial he ran in, earning his puppy and derby points easily. He broke his front leg in July of 2015, and had to take almost a year off of competitions, but in the spring of 2016, he finished his show championship!  After being reminded of how to be a broke dog at Hideaway Kennels, I ran him in his first 2 adult gun dog stakes and was very pleased and got many compliments on his style, his intensity, his snappy movement, and how he handled for me even though I hadn't worked him much myself.  Booker completed his Dual Championship before he turned 4 years old.  He's been competitive in the American Brittany Club's Masked Man Award as well, proving to be a consistant bird finder and looking good while doing it! 

Booker will be home in 2020 so I can hopefully help him earn his Amt Field Champion Title!
