Ruckus came from Veritas’ French Bulldogs in California after patiently waiting almost 2 years for the right puppy! He is so outgoing, tough, funny, and athletic. I wanted to not only find a good show prospect, but I also wanted to find the perfect personality in a “little” dog so that they could be raised with Brittany brothers and sisters and still hold his own ground! I absolutely found that in Ruckus! He bowls over them, runs and plays with them in the yard, and wrestles with them in the house. He’s a constant source of entertainment and love. Starting in a new breed after almost 35 years in Brittanys has been very eye opening! I have a handful of fantastic mentors, including Ruckus’ breeder, Ruben Lemmens. I have had so much fun showing him, and he tolerates going to field trials with the “big” dogs, but he does get a lot of attention from my fellow field trailers! With this face, how can anyone resist?!? We are learning and having fun at shows, and he’s on his way to completing his show championship. He’s maturing nicely, and I am excited to see how far we can go! We have our sights on some big shows, hoping we can get there someday!
